Katelynn Hechel
Executive Director

Katelynn joined the Elkhart Lake team in 2015. Her career in healthcare began with Community Relations and she is now the Executive Director. Katelynn loves to help those in need and do what she can to make the residents’ transition to assisted living go smoothly, while also showing them the benefits of being there.
Katelynn and her team work hard to provide quality and compassionate care to the residents of Bay & Landing at Elkhart Lake. We are all one big family!
When Katelynn is not at work, she enjoys time spent with her husband and two beautiful daughters.

Elizabeth Orth, MA, CNA

Liz started with Cedar Community in 2008 and remained for four years as Resident Assistant. Then she returned in 2017 as a Medication Technician. In 2023, she became Assistant Executive Director of Cedar Bay Assisted Living and Cedar Landing. With the new year, came new ownership and a new name, Koru Health: Bay & Landing at Elkhart Lake. Liz is now the Assistant Executive Director and Resident Services Coordinator with Koru Health.
Liz has been caring for seniors for over 18 years. During that time she has cared for individuals in nursing homes, assisted living, memory care, and hospice care settings.
Emily Milski
Activities Director

Emily started at Bay & Landing at Elkhart Lake in January 2024, and has since enjoyed working with the community. When not at Bay & Landing, she enjoys teaching studio dance as well as directing and producing at various theater companies throughout Sheboygan County.
Kathleen Spott, RN
Clinical Director

Kathleen has been in nursing for 26 years and has enjoyed working in various settings such as hospitals, rehab centers, clinics, home health, hospice, and long-term care, with assisted living being her favorite. Kathleen has been Director of Nursing for four assisted living communities, including Elkhart Lake. Helping families and residents transition to assisted living is something Kathleen has years of experience in and has seen firsthand the incredible support available to help maintain independence during this transition.
Kathleen handles day-to-day nursing operations and supports the residents, their families, and the Spero Gardens Care Team in Hartford, WI. Now she will be joining Katelynn and Liz as part of the Elkhart Lake team for additional nursing support. Her goal is to make this the best place to live and work.
Kathleen has a passion for helping others and looks out for you like her own family member or close friend, treating each resident as an individual—with respect and dignity. As the Clinical Director, she leads the Nursing Department by example providing mentorship, coaching, and team development.
Kurt Krzyzak
Maintenance Manager

Kurt has been with the Elkhart Lake team since 2007. He has many years of experience from working at other companies. In his role, he responds to daily maintenance requests and is responsible for lawn cutting, landscape work, snow removal, and making repairs at the assisted living building and each of the 40 independent living homes. Kurt enjoys working for our residents and getting to know them and their families.
Kurt grew up in Chicago, then moved to Appleton, and later moved to Little Chute. When he is not at work, he enjoys fishing, hunting, playing video games, and tending to his own lawn. He has one daughter and two grandkids.
Molly Milski
Culinary Manager

Molly has been with the community for 10 years. Her favorite part of working at Elkhart Lake is spending time with the residents and making them meals they enjoy. Molly especially enjoys throwing a good party (such as for Halloween, Valentine’s Day, or a Brewers Opening Day cookout).
Molly would not want to be anywhere else. The staff and residents at Elkhart Lake are like family.
